Lorie, the owner of Oley Valley Pet Salon, grew up around dog grooming most of her life. Her mom was a dog groomer and started teaching Lorie at age 6. Her parents also owned a boarding kennel and raised poodles which is where she gained her experience. She’s been grooming professionally since 1980.
